I go through New Denver only twice a year. I had lunch at the Apple Tree once and now I look forward to it every time. I usually have their daily soup and sandwich special and I've never been disappointed! The breads are *fresh* and the sandwich built with care and generous portions. There's none of the meat in the middle and bare bread on the edges that is so common. Meat / salad / cheese / lettuce / fills the bread from edge to edge. Great from the first bite to the last.The soup must be home made because it's *so* good! I've had different soup every time and every time it's been very tasty and heart. I wish they sold jars to take home!And the best part is that it's reasonably priced, unlike other eateries in the Kootenays. I wish I could go once a week or more!
